Hadde dere en flott 17. mai? - The Nowegian constitution day

Vi hadde i allefall en flott 17. mai! :) Den store varmen hadde vi ikke. Men det regnet de meldte kom ikke, og solen titten frem utpå formiddagen. Så det ble flott 17. maivær!

 Det lokale barnetoget avslutter sin ferd ned gata der vi bor, hvert år. Og som vanlig var det pyntet flott med flagg. (bildet).  På ettermiddagen fikk vi besøk av mine foreldre og svigers til koldtbord og kaker/kaffe. Dette har etter hvert blitt en tradisjon på 16. året.

Yesterday Norway celebrated it's constitution day. The children walks in procession with flags and national costumes. And a brass band are usual going in the front of the procession and playing our 17. mai songs!

I lovely sight! I have not picture of that since there are stright regulations about putting out pictures of people (o.a. showing there faces). But I have picture of how lovely our street was decorated to this day. All the people on the picutre are hearing the brass band and are waiting for the procession. We had a great day!
